chuck blackChuck Black was born and raised in Williston, ND. He attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND and graduated in 1985 with a BS in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He entered the United States Air Force and traveled throughout the US and to foreign countries as a tactical communications engineer. He was then accepted into pilot training and eventually flew F-16 fighters. After spending nine years in the Air Force, he returned to Williston, ND to take a position with a plastics firm as a product design engineer. He is now a co-owner of the business and the inventor/co-inventor on eleven patents for products that are distributed and sold nationally and internationally.

Chuck is first a believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and in the Holy-Spirit-inspired, infallible Word of God. He is second a husband to his wife, Andrea, and third, a father to six children ranging in age from 24 to 14 (Brittney, Reese, Ian, Emily, Abigail and Keenan). Chuck and Andrea have homeschooled their children for the past nineteen years. They have a family music ministry and travel throughout the region singing Christian gospel, contemporary and traditional music. 

 

Chuck is the author of twelve novels which comprise The Kingdom Series and The Knights of Arrethtrae series. Kingdom’s Dawn of The Kingdom Series received Homeschool.com’s “Voted #1” award and was on CBA’s top ten best sellers list twice in 2008. Chuck’s passion is to inspire young people to follow the Lord with zeal and to equip parents, pastors, and youth leaders to accomplish the same.
